Before Ordering:

Q. Why are some products shown that are unavailable?

A. We take pride in serving our customers, so these products are shown to allow our customers to see our complete product list.  Future products and products currently being re-stocked will be displayed online even though unavailable at the time.

 

Q. Do you accept tax exempt orders online?
A. Unfortunately, homeswithcharacter.net is not able to accept tax exempt orders.

 

Q. Can I purchase plans without a license?

A. No, a license for each plan you purchase must be signed and returned to Home With Character before your order will be shipped to insure legal use of our furniture or green home plans. Orders may be cancelled at the discretion of Homes With Character if the license is not filled out properly and returned.  The form is provided for download after your order is completed.

 

Ordering:

Q. Can I make changes to my order?

A. No.  Once an order has been submitted it is processed and shipped out as soon as possible.  Order changes cannot be made after it has been paid for.

 

Q. Can I review the details of an order I have already placed online?

A. No.  Unfortunately their is no way to review the details of an order you have already placed online.  However, you can use your reciept to review the details of your order.

 

Q. Can I track my order online?

A. Once an order has shipped, a Shipping Confirmation e-mail is sent to you with the name of the carrier and the tracking number, which you may use to track your order via the carrier's tracking site.

 

Q. Can I use a gift card to purchase my order?

A. No, Homes With Character does not accept any Gift Cards as payment online unless accepted through Paypal.  However we do accept Homes With Character Gift Certificates provided by Paypal.  If you have any further questions about what payments are acceptable contact Paypal.

 

Q. How can I cancel my order?

A. As long as your order has not been processed you can cancel it by sending an email to customerservice@homeswithcharacter.net.  If your order has not been processed they will be able to assist in canceling your order.

 

Q. How do I know if you have recieved my order?

A. Within 24 hours of an order being placed you should recieve an order confirmation email.

 

Q. How long will it take my order to arrive?

A. Order arrival times depend upon product and shipping times.  Holidays and weekends will extend shipping time.

 

Paying For My Online Order:

Q. Can I still order if I have no Paypal account?

A. Yes, once you enter checkout you can choose to pay with a credit card instead of opening a Paypal account or sign up and open a new Paypal account to pay for your order.  If you have any questions about Paypal accounts or paying for your order through Paypal, contact Paypal.

 

Q. How do I pay for my order on homeswithcharacter.net?

A. Once you enter checkout you can choose to pay through a Paypal account or a credit card.

 

Q. How is my homeswithcharacter.net order processed?

A. Once you proceed to checkout your order will be sent to and processed through Paypal.  Any further questions should be submitted to Paypal.

 

Shipping and Delivery:

Q. Can I ship my order to Alaska or Hawaii?

A. No, at this time orders can only be shipped to the 48 contiguous United States.

 

Q. May I choose my shipping carrier?

A. Yes, the recommended shipping method for all plan/eBook orders is USPS Parcel Post and for all HWC Gear products it's UPS Ground.

 

Q. What shipping carriers does Homes With Character use?

A. Homes With Character uses both USPS and UPS for for all Homes With Character product orders.

 

Q. Where will homeswithcharacter.net deliver to?

A. At this time homeswithcharacter.net will not deliver outside of the 48 contiguous United States.

Q. What is your return policy?

Q. How do I report a damaged or defective product?
A. Please email our Customer Service Center at 
customerservice@homeswithcharacter.net immediately if you discover any damage or defects with an item ordered within 90 days for plans/eBooks and 30 days for HWC Gear products.  After 90 days from the date of your purchase your damaged or defective plan/eBook will not be replaced, refunded or exchanged.  After 30 days from the date of purchase your damaged or defective HWC Gear product will not be replaced or refunded.

Q. Will my personal information be shared or sold?

A. No.  Any personal information homeswithcharacter.net gathers will not be shared or sold.  For a more detailed report on how homeswithcharacter.net will handle your personal information visit our online Privacy Policy.
