How Do I: How Does Homes With Character:

Warranties:

All Homes With Character plans include a 90 Day Limited Warranty. The warranty starts from the date of purchase to 90 days afterward. If within the 90 days you are not satisfied with your plans you can exchange them for another plan of equal value for free. To redeem your warranty you must send back your original plans through USPS or UPS to Homes With Character along with a copy of your original reciept, the reason for the return and what new plan you would like to exchange it for. You may recieve your new revised copy within 7 days from reciept of your original plans, reciept, reason for return and the name of the plan you want to exchange it for. If you wish to return your plans for any reason within the 90 days a refund may be given. For more information on returns view Our Return Policy.

Homes With Character is not liable for any damages caused by the use or misuse of any Homes With Character products or services.

Licenses:

Each furniture plan comes with a license agreement. A license for each plan you purchase must be signed and returned to Home With Character before your order will be shipped to insure legal use of our furniture plans. Orders may be cancelled at the discretion of Homes With Character if the license is not filled out properly and returned. The form is provided for download after your order is completed. Below is a generic example of the license agreement for your review. This agreement cannot be copied or used in place of an official Homes With Character Single User License Agreement Form. This form cannot be reproduced or used in anyway other than what is stated above.

Single User License Agreement Form

Permission is given for the purchaser of this plan set to construct one project from the purchased plan set. This license does not include the right to build more than one project from the purchased plan set or to sell any woodworking project made from these plans. These plans are intended for personal use only, not commercial (business) use. This plan set cannot be resold or copied in whole or in part. All prints made from the purchase plan set are covered by this same license and carry the same restrictions as the original plan set you purchased. The printed copies must also retain all copyright and company information, including any contact information. A license form must be filled out and submitted to Homes With Character for each plan set purchased. Retain a copy of this form for your records along with all copies of the purchased blueprints and any copies. All users of these plans must complete and submit this license to the address below before any work begins. A copy of this form must be submitted for every project constructed from the purchased plans. This license is not transferrable and can only be used by the purchaser/user listed below.

This form may not be altered or changed in any way not specified in the instructions below.

Law strictly prohibits reproduction in whole or in part. Only a single project may be constructed from the furniture plan set purchased. All plans may not be resold or copied. We strive for accurate representation of renderings and plans and will not be responsible for errors or omissions in the plan set purchased. Strict penalties will be enforced for violators of copyright laws. The plan set purchased and listed above may not be copied, resold, reproduced or used to construct any projects if this form is not fully filled out and returned to Homes With Character at customerservice@homeswithcharacter.net. This license is not transferrable and can only be used by the purchaser/user listed above.
